Questlog is a multi-year passion project I’ve been working on since 2018, including three full-time years.
A startup rollercoaster, with highs and lows, failed co-founder partnerships, and many other challenges.
his journey shaped me into a true full-stack founder.
🧭 Strategy
Key ingredients in our strategy include network bonding, engagement loops, gamification, social, virality, and crowdsourcing.
🎨 Product Design
The app was designed with a modern, intuitive, and recognizable interface, enhanced with subtle, distinct twists where it matters.
💻 Software Development
The front-end is built in Flutter, for both the mobile app and the CMS. The back-end runs on Node.js, combined with MongoDB and AWS.

A day before Christmas, we went live with our MVP in Breda (photo 2021).
The first phase of Questlog was a search for the right people and form of the solution.
A period of learning, building, pitching, designing, and persevering.
Full-time from 2021 to 2022.
From idea to MVP with 380 users.
🔍 Market Research
Extensive research among roughly 400 students across the Netherlands.
Followed by sales validation with 12 companies and a successful €15,000 SIR grant application.

An intense two-year period with a total of 3 different technical co-founders.
What started with an unexpected 4,500-panel project grew into a nationwide installation company for the commercial market.

Disc Golf Adventure was my first real taste of entrepreneurship.
With this company, I aimed to introduce disc golf in the Netherlands as a recreational activity.

A versatile offering with a webshop and regular clinics and events to introduce people to the sport.
🎨 Course Design
Rental of equipment and permanent disc golf course installations, always built around experience and storytelling, in collaboration with designers from the theme park world.

I completed the university degree of arts with specialization as a Manager Recreation Company.
To gain broader knowledge of the entire tourism and recreation market, I had chosen to start from the propaedeutic level.

An in-depth minor focused on testing ideas and building valuable propositions according to The Lean Startup principles.
📑 Thesis Lean Startup
Graduated with my own venture Disc Golf Adventure, in which I put the principles of Lean Startup into practice.

After graduation, I remained involved as a guest speaker and sparring partner within the program’s entrepreneurship program.

This is where the first real trials in a leadership role arose, with the departments of recreation (11) and swimming pool safety (4).
